Baggage Porter and Bellhop
- Adroit in delivering messages and room service orders, running errands for guests; picking up and returning items for laundry and valet service; computing and completing charge slips for services rendered, and maintaining records
- Paging guests in hotel lobbies, dining rooms, or other areas; setting-up conference rooms, display tables, racks, or shelves, and arranging merchandise displays for sales personnel; inspecting guests' rooms to ensure that they are adequately stocked, orderly, and comfortable
- Skilled in greeting customers, guiding them to check-in or their room and explaining amenities and services; moving luggage to and from customer's room and vehicle; bringing room service orders to customers and ensuring customer needs are met
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer/personal services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction; understating of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road
