Nursing Assistant
- An Experienced Nursing Assistant, service-focused professional seeking to transition into healthcare as a nursing assistant; adept at handling difficult or traumatic situations with complete courtesy and professionalism; able to work well independently and as a resident healthcare team member
- Extensive experience of XX years in providing great patient care answering patient calls and determining how best to help them; ensuring patients receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences
- Skilled in providing physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, -using the toilet, walking, standing or exercising; turning and repositioning bedridden patients
- Experienced in obtaining a wide range of information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient condition, treatment plans, and suggested activities; measuring and recording food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff
- Adept in examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine; reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements; noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses
- Wide nursing practice experience; excellent grasp of resident vital sign observation; strong skills in coordinating with resident care team staff and family members; superior abilities in handling unpleasant and stressful situations; outstanding oral and written communication skills
