Vocational Nurse
- Licensed Vocational Nurse, Taking-caring for ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled persons; observing patients, charting and reporting changes in patients; conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action
- Extensive experience of XX years in providing basic patient care and treatments, such as taking temperatures and blood pressure, dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas, douches, alcohol rubs, and massages, or performing catheterizations
- Skilled in collecting samples such as blood, urine, and sputum from patients, and performing routine laboratory tests on samples; instrumental in preparing the patients for examinations, tests, and treatments and explaining procedures
- Instrumental in monitoring and overseeing patient care to ensure that care plans and physician’s orders are being followed by conducting rounds; documenting changes in condition and contacting physicians or family members as required
- Good knowledge and experience of professional nursing principles and practice; ability to maintain effective working relationships with health professionals and other staff; excellent working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records; effective communication and interpersonal skills
