Clinical Neuropsychologist
- Contributing to the supervision of psychological therapy provided by other psychologists, including trainee, and assistant psychologists; working autonomously within professional guidelines and exercising responsibility for psychological practice within a current caseload
- Skilled in supporting and educating families in brain injury and ongoing care; utilizing research skills for audit, policy, service development, and clinical research; implementing policy changes within the neuropsychology service and the wider organization
- Proven track record of expertise in the area of neuropsychology; experience working as a psychologist in brain injury rehabilitation or within another clinical area; demonstrating transferable knowledge, expertise, and competencies relevant to neuropsychology and brain injury rehabilitation
- Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, highly technical and clinically sensitive information to patients, families, and other professional colleagues; ability to provide and/or identify appropriate support to carers and staff managing individuals with complex cognitive behavioral deficits
- Adept in evaluating the patient’s physical and medical condition as a result of substance abuse; creating revitalization plans for patients and assisting them in adhering to the plan objectives
