- Experienced in preserving artifacts and significant documents in museums or libraries; contributing to academic journals and presenting at conferences
- Adept in studying history at the intersection of society, culture, and economics; obtaining extensive information on historical figures for biographies
- Skilled in gathering historical data from sources such as archives, court records, diaries, news files, and photographs, as well as collecting data sources such as books, pamphlets, and periodicals
- Tracing historical development in a particular field, such as social, cultural, political, or diplomatic history; the flexibility to multi-task and meet competing deadlines; strong organizational, documentation, and tracking skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in using computer databases, supporting website development, and using computer file sharing services
