- An Accomplished Mathematician skilled in conducting research in fundamental mathematics or in the application of mathematical techniques to science, management, and other fields; solving problems in various fields using mathematical methods
- Extensive experience of XX years in conducting mathematical research to expand the knowledge base of traditional areas of math, such as algebra, geometry, and logic; acting as the lead advisor or expert in the application of mathematical analysis to resolve scientific or engineering issues
- Adept in designing and developing computational methods for solving problems in science, engineering, or other industries; perform computations and numerical analyses of data; applying mathematical theories to practical problems in a variety of settings and fields
- Skilled in performing mathematical work assignments involving a segment of a scientific area, or applied field of mathematics; applying general scientific theories, and principles of mathematics, as well as the full range of methods, procedures, and techniques, to conduct work assignments
- Keep abreast of emerging techniques and professional developments to remain current in the scientific field for application to work assignments; develop written summaries to be used by higher-level mathematicians, contractors, and/or customers; present briefings or presentations as required
