Detective Investigator
- An Experienced Detective / Criminal Investigator Possesses an extremely analytical mind and is able to uncover details that would otherwise be easily overlooked believes in law order and the fair administration of justice; great familiarity with modern forensic and collections techniques
- Extensive experience of XX years applying legal concepts, including use of force, search, and seizure, and due process; understanding delinquency risk factors, diversion, and prevention; studying crime activity using tested techniques and methods, as well as new technologies
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice process, from investigation and arrest to court and prison; leverage advanced skills and knowledge; develop facts by interviewing, watching, and interrogating suspects and witnesses
- Adept in determining charge, complaint, and allegation of law violation to recognize issues involved and types of evidence needed; analyzing scope, timing, and direction of investigation; studying records to recognize links in series of evidence and information
- Involved in comparing fingerprints at the crime scene with suspects and fingerprint files to recognize perpetrators, using computer; developing and using informants to get leads to information; maintaining surveillance and performing undercover assignments
- Hands-on experience with crime scenes analysis and forensic science; proficient in interpreting evidence and reconstructing events; in-depth knowledge of criminal law, rules, and legislation; thorough understanding of the investigation process and the unique circumstances of each case
